Perched atop wooden pilings above Jamaica Bay, guests enter the Lobster House down a bamboo lined boardwalk leading to our dining room and bar where every seat offers a panoramic view of the bay and New York's skyline. Our outdoor deck area offers gentle breezes and Rockaway's magnificent sunsets. The menu is surprisingly extensive. The Rockaway Lobster House's signature dishes are the Steamed Maine Lobster Pot, Alaskan King Crab Legs and our famous Lobster Bisque. Our appetizers offer something for everyone (although many are deep-fried, we use trans fat-free oil.) We are very kid friendly, providing a paper activity booklet and crayons for children. We are laid back and do not mind the kids playing video games, looking at our lobster and fish tanks, or running around the deck. So come in and enjoy some excellent food, a drink or three, and a relaxing time with old and new friends.
